Terminator 3: Rise Of The Machines comes to HD-DVD

quote from davisdvd.com

Quote:
Warner Home Video will release Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines on HD-DVD later this year. The sequel will arrive with a 1080p 2.40:1 anamorphic transfer and Dolby Digital 5.1 Plus audio. Along with extras that will be ported over from the standard two-disc DVD , the HD-DVD will include Warner's In-Movie Experience behind-the-scenes tour of the filmmaking process with director Jonathon Mostow and his creative team. There is no street date yet, so stay tuned.

hopefully warner has fixed the matting issue from the dvd release for this hd release!!!

I own the first two Terminator movies on BD.
So now I would want those to come on HD DVD too, of course. Sigh.

Oh for a single player that would handle both formats expertly.

Looking forward to this!

I think "The Man Room" had the cover art up last week, but they took it down shortly after. Nice to see more info on this.

Knowing Warner Brothers, we probably won't get a release date until the Thursday before it hits the shelves (though I'd hope there would be more advanced noticed for a bigger title such as this).

Home is behind, the world ahead
and there are many paths to tread
Through shadow, to the edge of night
until the stars are all alight
Mist and shadow, cloud and shade
all shall fade, all shall fade

Ehh... This one has nothing on the first two (in my humble opinion). It was entertaining though at least.

Re: Terminator 3: Rise Of The Machines comes to HD-DVD

Definitely not as good as the first two flicks, but still a pretty damn good action movie IMHO. I'm very interested to see how good it looks and sounds in HD. It should be one of the best demo titles on the format to date.

Agree Brent! The first 2 are modern day classics. But T3 is still a pretty solid film and solid entertainment. The audio alone on the SD-dvd was incredible...imagine what DD+ will sound like. "Foundation Repair" companys are grinning right now...
