Not for rentals if no scratch resistance. One of the VERY reasons for us preferring Blu-Ray. The data is more sensitive already!

Well, it looks like Universal is now tainting some of its HD DVD releases with hybrids.

What's worse is that Animal House is going to be a hybrid. What the hell is the point of THAT?!

And as a extra special bonus to those who are excitted to start collecting movies in HD, the HD DVD side will be movie only. In order to see the extras you have to flip it to the SD side.

Whoopie!! Way to go HD DVD!! CRAP!
