PS3 audio to a Bose 321


I have a ps3/80 connected via optical cable to a bose 321 any advice on audio settings to get the best sound possible. ex. bitstream vs PCM etc.

Since you´re using optical, you only get the "core" from DTS-HD MA (core is "DTS - 1.5 Mbps") and Dolby TrueHD (core is "Dolby Digital - 640kbps", I believe?). So use bitstream.

Thanx, i appreciate the reply. So when the ps3 says choosing bitstream may leave out some audio, i should just ignore that in my situation. Also when i transfer cd's to my ps3 what format should i use AAC, MP3

It is up to you obviously, but I would use a format that would allow you to use the music with a number of devices.
