Help!!-getting a split screen with new toshiba hd-a3

I am setting up a new HD-A3 player and it is displaying a split screen....the right picture on the left and the left on the right. I have a Zenith IQB64W10W, which accepts 1080i input, but does only have component inputs, no HDMI. Does anyone now what to do here??

Double check to make sure the correct color component cable is in the correct input. Also, make sure the inputs are in securely. Sometimes when the component cables screw on tips get loose it can cause interference, so make sure they are screwed tight as well. If that does in fact apply to your cables.

" I think it's time we go to plan B". "What's plan B?" "That's the one where we don't do something stupid".

Rod,

Welcome to the forum!

What Troy says, and also check if your HD-A3 is really set to 1080i (not -p), because you say your Zenith can only handle that.

You didn't tell us if you get that split screen (actually, it's shifted half a horizontal line to the right or left) on HD material only, or on SDVD, or both.
