Why is the 10AK $300.00 more? Where can I find my best deal on one?

Re: Panasonic BD10AK and BD30AK differance??

Dunno why it's priced that much higher, as it's an older (and discontinued) model compared to the BD30; the BD10 does offer 7.1 analog ch. outs vs. 5.1 for the BD30...however, unlike the BD30 it cannot bitstream DTS-HD MA (its HDMI isn't 1.3-spec).

Get the BD10 if your AVR can't decode any of the high-def audio soundtracks (e.g., TrueHD, DTS-HD MA) but can receive PCM 7.1-ch. analog (or if you need 7.1-ch. analog out)...otherwise, the BD30 is the overall better choice between the two.

Also, the BD10 plays the high resolution, multichannel music DVD-Audio format. The BD30 does not.
