A quick question about PS3

I have a PS3 60GB player (not sure if you got this version in the USA - it's the only one in the UK with backwards compatibility with PS2 and 1 games; I think for you guys the equivalent is the 80GB model).

For various reasons, I'm thinking of getting a second PS3 player, this one solely to be used for playing BD. Now be gentle with me - does the 'GB' value matter with regard to playing Blu-Ray, or are all the PS3 models the same in this regard?

GB doesn't matter - they are the same for Blu-Ray playback (but not for SACD however).

Many thanks. Thanks also for the info re: SACD, but that won't be a bother as I have another machine that will do that (and DVD-A as well).

That's exactly what I did, bought a 2nd PS3 (40GB) for BR only.
