I get a menu function that is not in my owner's manual? I have something called RGB ? (don't remember and I'm not in the same room as the HT). It allows me to select normal or enhanced. I checked the manual to see what that does and it's not listed in the manual as a function. Just curious (I went from 1.3 to 2.7).

It's a new function and only pertains to a bug in the 480i/p "blacker than black" output over component. If you are using HD resolution, you can ignore it.

What if I use 480i via HDMI? If I understand you correctly, I can ignore it (I have so far) but I just want to be sure I understood.

You can ignore it. Matter of fact, try changing it. You won't see a difference over HDMI.
