Thinking about switching to Blu-Ray, what about Reon chips/upscaling?
Hey Blu-Ray experts. I have the new Samsung BD-UP5000 and I'm considering returning it and switching to a Blu-ray only player. Right now, the video quality is insanely great and the Reon chip/upscaling ability is just unbelievable. The Sony SD upscaling DVD player I had does not compare and the only reason I'm thinking of dumping the dual player is because of Warner's Blu-ray exclusive announcement and the $800 price tag on my player. I'm only going to switch to Blu-Ray if there is an equivalent upscaling picture quality player.
Does anyone have any advice? Thank you!
