Problem with my X-A2!

I just got the X-A2 a week ago and it's been working great until tonight. I was watching Babel last night and stopped it halfway through. Tonight I start up my equipment to finish watching the movie and there's no picture at all, just sound. My tv is fine, all other signals work. So I start checking buttons, remotes, etc. Nothing! Then after my umpteenth restart of the X-A2 I get a picture but it's very dark and can't be adjusted. Weird huh? Tried again and its gone black again. I can't even bring up any setup menus or any screen commands, Nothing! Nada!

Does anyone have any idea what could be going on? I tried unplugging and repluggin the X-A2, checked all the cables, etc. It was working fine up until last night and I didn't touch or change anything.

Does it sound like I have a defective box? I haven't even had a chance to upgrade the firmware and I can't even do that if I have no screen output at all.

Try unplugging the player for a shot period of time them power it back on. This will re-boot the player. If it's still not getting a picture then I guess you got a bad one.

Thanks Robert. After I wrote my message I unplugged the box for 30 minutes or so. It worked fine after that. Has anyone else had this problem? Does anyone know if the firmware update will correct this problem?
