Consumer Hookup Confusion
It's no wonder people have a tough time setting up their HT hardware
Or are confused into thinking that they are running Hi Def on their new flat panels from their sources
Or think that HD DVD is only slightly better than SD
I just received the Tosh HDA2 - cables provided? Composite video and stereo!
What a waste
I just know that my brothers, father and some of my friends would use these, then proudly show off their new HD DVD's (until I came for dinner and checked it out)
At least my HD Sat box came with component and an HDMI cable with DVI converter
I had an HDMI cable ready, and was fully aware of what and how to set it up, but not many people I know, do the research that I do
The days of providing a stereo cables and composite need to be over - I know there is a big cable market out there (that I have supported), but there needs to be that jump to appropriate cables for the source provided, I think
