Am in the minority when it comes to this now??
I just got the new NINE INCH NAILS HD DVD and i am really itching to the hear this in TRUHD.. but as i have feared the 2.0 update before i am really considering doing it..
i hate there is no going back and of course i have been reading the numerous post regarding problems. However i have also been reading the numerous post praising the superior sound quality with the TRUHD.

I know it's been asked many times. i can't afford a new player right now so if i screw this up. Im screwed.

should i go for it????????

also if someone has a link to the "how to" on downloading the freeware version of 2.0 to put on a disc that would be greatly appreciated.

In an answer, yes. The positives far out way the negatives with this upgrade.

The downside.....

Toshiba hasn't made any real efforts to correct the negatives....

So, you will have to live with them....

Been a long time since 2.0 was issued....

Word from someone on AVS is that Toshiba is releasing 2.1 next week.
