HD-A1 w/ 1.2 Upgrade, Still Buggy

Purchased an HD-A1 a few days ago. Have played 4 HD-DVDs and 1 DVD and all have had at least one problem:

Phantom of the Opera - popping/scratchy sounds from center channel during end credits

Blazing Saddles - no sound from center channel, stopped disc and re-started, problem gone

Unforgiven - audio on special features sounds "warbled"

The Perfect Storm - audio on special features sounds "warbled"

Journey to the Center of the Earth - froze about 10 minutes in. Had to unplug player and re-boot.

Audio is hooked to my receiver using digital coaxial. I haven't tried the special features on the first two yet so the audio could be warbled there also. Checked the firware and 1.2 is already on there...wonder if this one is a lemon. Anyone still having problems after the 1.2 upgrade?

Since all but one of your problems are audio, you might check the coax connection to make sure it's properly seated. My first HD-A1 kind of had a funky thing with the coax connection not being terribly stable. The replacement has worked fine.
