I have a Velodyne ULD-18II (as in an 18" driver) subwoofer for sale. It has been treated very well and is in like new condition. I do not have the box (are you kidding, do you know how big that is?) but the sub and 600 wpc amp/crossover are in like new condition. I'm not sure shipping is really realistic. It would have to be boxed and trucked, which would be quite expensive. So, I am located in Northern Colorado and could bring it to someone who wasn't too terribly far away, it could be picked up or we could meet somewhere in the middle. I would be willing to arrange a delivery fee if the buyer was more than, say, 70 miles away or so. Just be sure you have the space to carry it, since it measures 21"x24"x31" with feet and weighs about 100 lbs or more. It is disconnected from my system, but the amp is still in the rack, so it can be auditioned for anyone seriously interested who happens to be in the neighborhood. Just PM me if you are interested.
This was the top of the line at the time, which was before Velodyne lowered the quality of their equipment. It has excellent extension, but it's real strength is in how musical it is. With a good pair of full range speakers it virtually disappears, and I mean that in a good way. With the right source material it also has various magical powers. While playing Bach's
Toccata and Fugue it has been shown to ward off evil spirits. Playing
War of the Worlds has caused Tom Cruise to lose his mind and jump around on couches while being interviewed on popular television shows. Playing Within Temptation's live performance of
Towards the End appeared to open a secret passageway to the magical world of Narnia. And playing Metallica's
Ain't My Bitch at proper levels has shown to make mothers in law vanish in a puff of smoke. But, of course, I don't want to make any exaggerated claims. Your personal performance may vary.

I will post photos of the sub when I am able, or if someone is genuinely interested. The wood of this sub is a light color. I don't recall exactly what specific wood it is. Once again, it is in like new condition.
