Dorian, i have a JVC progressive scan dvd player(black) that plays DVD-Rs as well. its not a denon, but it works well. How nice of a player are you looking for?

Nothing fancy. When I sold you the Panasonic, I thought I could get by with a regular signal for the projector. Now I need a prog. scan player!
