FS: Yamaha HTR-5760 7.1 Digital HT Receiver

Most "BANG-FOR-THE-BUCK" receiver on the market right now period. I have used this receiver as a preamp w/ my Adcom multi-channel amp for the past 4 months or so w/ great results. It is one of the only receivers that will overlay PLIIx on top of DD & DTS material. For those of you who want detailed specs, you can find out everything you want to know about this receiver right HERE. I purchased the 5760 from an authorized online dealer and it will come w/ the original box, the remote, and the receipt from the authorized retailer. Price: $300 + shipping.

Interested, but have a question in regards to the warranty. Are you sure it's transferrable? I noticed in the warranty info from Yamaha's website it says in part:

Who may enforce the warranty:

This warranty is enforceable only by the original purchaser.

Thanks,

Jason

I can't answer that for a certainty Jason, but I'll try and find out. In the meantime, the Yamaha 5760 is still for sale.

To anyone interested in knowing, I called Yamaha this morning, as well as a couple of their authorized repair centers and was informed by all 3 that ANYONE w/ a receipt from an authorized dealer WILL NOT BE REFUSED warranty service.

Receiver still for sale.

What conditions? I know its 4 months old. I assume everything works. Why are you selling it after 4 months?
I am in Livingston, NJ. Whats the shipping cost?

Thanks.
