WTB: Non-working DVD player

That's right. I'm not crazy or anything, but I need some parts out of a DVD for a project I'm taking on. I'm not particular about make/model, but I do require that the unit has a coax. digital output, an optical digital output, and an s-video output.

Again, I need a player that doesn't work because I simply need only those parts I mentioned above. I would prefer not to spend over $20 after shipping.

Any offers will be considered.

Thanks,
Tom

Tom,

I have a Sony DVP-S560D that bit the dust recently. You may be aware of the history of this model. It was a notorious failure on reading discs. It had an authorized repair about 18 months ago and it ran fine until just before Christmas. It powers up but cannot read a disc.

Optical and Coax out plus S-video.

PM or email me (neilwhite@usa.net).

N

Sorry. My broken player actually does not have a digital coax.

I have a Pioneer DV440 which plays both DVDs and CDs only part way and then stops. It has both coax and optical outputs. I have the remote, manual and original box.

I can go $25 shipped. Remote is worth $15.:b
