I am giving up my XM Radio and going with
Sirius satellite radio for the simple reason
that I don't like commercials.

XM Radio is still a great value. It's $3
cheaper per month than Sirius, and is a great
service for those who want quality entertainment
pumped into their car and homes.

I am selling an entire XM Radio entertainment
system for both CAR and HOME.

* Alpine CDA-7995 Head Unit for the car
* XM Radio Tuner
* XM Radio magnetic mount antenna
* Delphi SkyFi Radio tuner
* 2 Home Kit cradles (one I used as a spare)

The entire system has been used for about 7-8
months. Everything is in excellent condition.

I don't have the original boxes, but do have
all the original manuals.

You can buy the Alpine CDA-7894 head unit alone
for $300 new, but I am throwing in the tuner, car
antenna, Delphi SkyFi unit and 2 Home kits for
$375. This includes shipping.

XM Radio does need to be activated, of course.

Ron,

Any chance of selling the Delphi stuff separatly? I would be interested in the radio and home kits if they are available.

Thanks,
Dennis

Ron,

I'm interested in the whole deal, but have a couple of questions for you. I don't want to clog up this thread, so please PM or email me if that will be an easier way for me to communicate with you.

Thanks.

CORRECTION

I had originally posted the wrong model
number on the Alpine Head Unit.

The head unit is the 7894, not the 7995.

I am still selling the entire package listed
above for $375, as I think it is still a good
deal.

However, I am thinking of perhaps keeping XM
Radio in my home (and SIRIUS in the car).

So, if you are JUST interested in the car
deal (the 7894 head unit, XM Tuner & Antenna)
I can sell that alone for $290 shipped.

Ron,

I haven't been able to get hold of you by email. It has bounced. I'm still interested in the SkiFi stuff if you are going to sell it. I have a SkiFi and it works well for my listening since my faves are still commercial free. Looking for a radio for my dad for Christmas.

Thanks,

Ron,

Not sure if you know this or not...but once you become a Sirius subscriber...you can listen to the live streams (just as you would in your car) on your PC without any additional equipment. You just login on the Sirius website and listen away.

I only say this because I thought that then you would be okay with selling your entire XM setup.

FWIW: There are ways to do this (listen online) even if you aren't a Sirius subscriber as well. However, when I tried it today it didn't work...so maybe they have caught on finally

I am a Sirius subscriber and I love the service and especially love the lack of commercials on Sirius

I'd probably pay double for it if I had to at this point even...but please don't tell Sirius
