Can you elaborate on how you checked the CRTs for burns?
Did you remove the lenses?

How many hours on it? Did you acquiure it from one of the well known sellers on eBay or do you mind sharing?

i basically shine a flashlight through the lens, it didn't appear to have ny burns. (i also have a pic i took through the lens if interested) i obtain it locally here from a communications company who is upgrading.
