For sale here are the original Panasonic HDTV recording combo PV-HD1000 D-VHS VCR and TU-DST50 HD set top box. This combo will allow you to record and playback over the air HDTV signals.
The VCR is the consumer model and still records and plays back beautiful HD like the day I bought it. No remote with the VCR.
The STB inlcludes the remote and plays back HD recordings perfectly but has a problem picking up OTA. Although reception and recording from the STB are usually fine, the reception can become screwy on the unit and it seems to be associated with the antenna connector. Again this does not affect the ability of the STB and VCR to playback prerecorded tapes and is likely fixable by someone with more skills than me.
Firewire cable not included.
