ReturnBuy.com - any csr experiences?

I'm not sure if this is the correct forum. If not - please move it to the correct one. I came across this website that sells refurbished systems. I was curious - if anyone ever had any experience with this website - www.returnbuy.com --

I've been in a market for a laptop for awhile now to replace my desktop. This is the best value laptop I have come across.

SHARP ACTIUS GP22W 2.2 GHZ LAPTOP PC - $1099

IntelŪ PentiumŪ 4 processor 2.2 Ghz; 512 MB DDR (expandable to 768 MB); High resolution 15" XGA TFT LCD display (1024 x 768); Integrated Wireless 802.11b, SD and SmartMedia Slots; Integrated 8xDVD, 16x 10x CDRW, 24x CD Combo Drive with SharpFX; 40 GB HD; USB 2.0 x4, Firewire, LAN, Modem, SVideo TV Out

I think - it's a very good deal considering what you're getting. The laptop brand new runs close to $1700 at Circuit City. If anyone knows of a better deal - please let me know. I'm hoping to get one soon...

thanks in advance,

bruce

I know about these guys for years. They started out selling at EBay (before they had their own website). The only thing I ever brought from them was a Nokia 7190 (New), which was "close" to what they advertised. Not entirely their fault, as their price and item was a LOT better than any Nokia 7190 on EBay. The only thing that wasn't there was the 7190 was supposed to come with a software CD, but their's did not (I think because it was OEM bulk). But they refunded my money in a speedy manner, and customer service responses were prompt and professional. From that one single experiecne, I would recommend them.
Their refund policy is if it's not their fault, they will refund your purchase price in full (the usual same condition as shipped, etc, etc) minus shipping (both ways). If it's their fault, they will refund all except 50% of your ship back cost, reasonable.

I bought a couple things from them and have had nothing but good experiences. I got my Olympus 3020 Digital Camera for $150 and the cheapest Ebay had was $299. There Customer Service is also very good.

I bought some 12" Bazooka subs from them. They were delivered as described with a few scratches but in perfect working order. Not bad for $15 each when Crutchfield wanted $120 brand new.

I purchased a Panamax power strip from them on ebay. The retail price was $50 and I got it for $10. The auction said it was for two but I only received one. I contacted them and they refunded half my money. I was happy with the transaction. The item was brand new in retail packaging.

I don't know about the bigger items though, especially computers. Although as long as it's in good shape you should be fine.
