CEDIA 2005 EXPO Video Conference

On Friday September 9th, the Custom Electronic Design and Installation Association (CEDIA) hosted an exclusive CEDIA Executive Summit at CEDIA EXPO 2005 titled "Direct from Hollywood—The Prospects for Next-Generation Media."

This special session highlighted the various issues associated with the latest high-definition. The discussion covered topics such as HD delivery options, interactive programming, and emerging packaged media formats such as Blu-ray and HD-DVD Discs.

The following home entertainment executives took part in the Executive Summit:

• Adrian Alperovich, executive vice president-international for Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.
• Patrick Fitzgerald, executive vice president of sales, distribution, and trade marketing for Buena Vista Home Entertainment.
• Peter Staddon, executive vice president of marketing for Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment.

Paul Gluckman, managing editor of Consumer Electronics Daily, served as moderator.

Home Theater Forum is proud to be the exclusive host of this video transcript and has provided multiple viewing options. Feel free to view the entire 60 minute presentation (40 minute panel discussion, 20 minute Q&A), or we have separated the individual questions and answers into their own clips if you are unable to view the entire presentation.

Click here to be taken to the video/transcripts page.

Ron and I are grateful and proud of all the hard work that Adam Gregorich put into making this video conference available to all.

Parker
