I don't know about others, but I'm finding the forum much easier to read with these colors..

Rod,

I'll discuss the future of our forum's color scheme over with
Parker and take your recommendation into consideration.

My initial response is going to be no, we cannot keep this
color scheme.

Personally, I feel that our forum needs to retain a
professional look When we chose the normal color
scheme that we regularly use, the utmost consideration was
given to overall look and the ability to read posts.

This "Simpsons skin" was a huge experiment for us which we
worked very carefully to design alongside Twentieth Century Home
Entertainment.

It is our hope to promote future films for TCFHE and other studios
in the same manner. We think that it's kind of cool for our
members to experience while benefiting a particular studio who
wants more exposure for their release.

You could make it another skin someone could choose.

Then maybe someday in the future there will be a whole array of skins to choose.

I couldn't stand the "Simpson Colors" when they were first introduced; but with the "yellow" toned down a little from its initial shade the scheme is starting to grow on me.

I agree with "Qui-Gon John" that it would be nice if the scheme could be retained as a selectable "skin" from the User Control Panel.

You have a good suggestion here.

I'm not the software guy here. Parker is. Right now he is
with family for the holidays so I am uncertain how frequently
he is reading the forum this week.

I would guess that we can save THE SIMPSONS skin as an
option for you to use at your choosing. It would be a great
idea to have any promotional skins we create available to
our membership year-round.

Give up to a week for Parker to respond to this thread.

Ron, great. The Blue Skin would go back to the regular colors and there would be on the Skin Chooser list, along with the current Blue, White and WAP, the "Simpsons Skin". Later as you try out more, you would just add more options onto the Skin Chooser.
