Agreed. I have the "Full WYSIWYG Text Editor" option, and I got used to having the full-featured Quick Reply box, and not having to hit the "Reply to Thread" button.

Also, the preview text balloons formerly brought up by hovering over a thread title seem to have disappeared. I am on Opera, and occasionally little hacks which work in "other browsers" don't for me, so I don't know if they've been left out or not.

Christopher:

I have the quick reply fixed. I am using Opera 9.23 and the preview text works just fine. I am not sure what you mean by the "Replay to Thread" button issue.

Yup. See screen cap below. The tabs include all the text.

Now, though, the next button bar (located just under the HTF logo) is wrapping around and even splits the "Quick Link" link onto two lines. [EDIT** -- Maybe if you simply removed the work "Picture" from "Profile Picture Gallery"...or something like that.]

There's Jessie the yodeling cowgirl. Bullseye, he's Woody's horse. Pete the old prospector. And, Woody, the man himself. Of course, it's time for Woody's RoundUp. He's the very best! He's the rootinest, tootinest cowboy in the wild, wild west!

Re: A new look for HTF.........

LOVE the new text preview "look"--the yellow word balloons when you roll your cursor over a thread title. The only thing is...it doesn't seem to work in one's UserCP. Didn't it used to?

I'm glad to have a lot of text from the first post in the balloon. The way it originally was in the blue skin rarely gave enough information.

EDIT** I also LOVE the fact that the word balloons "instinctively" know whether to appear above or below the link based upon where the link sits on the monitor view. Used to be that they all appeared "below" the link...forcing me to scroll up the page in order to see a thread preview of a link near the bottom of my monitor view.

Mike:

When you say the used to work in the User CP do you mean your subscribed threads?

Yup. That's what I mean. But I wouldn't swear to it in court. I just checked in the old skin and it doesn't do it now...but then, the format of the preview text has changed in the old skin, too. Maybe I was imagining (remembering) something incorrectly.

I would (come to think of it) probably only that use that feature to investigate threads that were new to me--not already a subscribed thread in my UserCP.

OK, seeing the preview balloons and the additional options in the Quick Reply box now.

I never did have a problem with the "Post Reply" button, other than remembering what it is called while typing my reply!

i loved the blue look, but I tried the other skins, and now I can't get out of WAP. HOW DO I GET OUT OF WAP! It's ugly and it makes my heart cry! WAAAAAH!

I could cry more if it well generate the suitable sympathy.
