Re: Report all forum software problems in this thread ONLY. Thank You!

Last night I got online about 11:30pm. I basically could not navigate the fourm, it loaded so slowly and this seems to be a common problem for me at night. Usually (late at night) I have to open a second browser window, one just for this forum so when I click a link I can leave it for a few minutes while it loads.

Even right now I cannot get the spell check to work, it won't open up.

Also, just now I had to edit my post. When I go to save it, nothing. I basically wait a minute and just reload the page and the edit has worked, but just clicking the edit button, it will not take me back to the edited post, it just hangs up.

I know it's nothing at my end as this is the only forum that I have these troubles with.

Ron:

I really don't know what to say as I am not having any of those problems. I am sure others are but frankly I don't know what to do about it.

What browser are you using? Do you have ad blocking turned on? Do the pages seem to hang at a certain point?

I am using a Verizon Yahoo browser. I do have popup blocking on. The main issues for me is reloading the page after an edit or trying to open the spell check. Late at night is also when it runs the slowest.

I may try loading a different browser and see if that changes anything but I've used Firefox in the past and it was no different.

Ron:

It may be your popup blocker. I know that the spellchecker needs to have the popup blocker turned off or the popup window won't work. Maybe you could try setting your browser to allow popups from HTF and see if that makes a difference.

Tony:

Hmm...that's odd. I am not sure what would have caused that to happen. Let me know if that continues.

i think it was an isolated incident.

Wasn't it just the re-setting of the HTF clock which caused Tony's time-shifting?

There's Jessie the yodeling cowgirl. Bullseye, he's Woody's horse. Pete the old prospector. And, Woody, the man himself. Of course, it's time for Woody's RoundUp. He's the very best! He's the rootinest, tootinest cowboy in the wild, wild west!
