This week Ken McAlinden reviews Albert Lewin's MGM adaptation of Oscar Wilde's The Picture of Dorian Gray, a highly awaited release that gets notable recommendation. I was just looking at this thread, and I noticed that the person that started the thread, Nick, apparently has a join date of "Jan 1970".

I'm almost certain that is not correct, so I thought I would report it. It's a minor problem, but it could possibly indicate other issues with the forum software.

Just hope that helps.

(Incidentally, reading the last few posts - I didn't think the forum had any censor software. Indeed, the rules allow the use of occasional profanity, and I know I've seen strong language used on occasion, so I'm surprised to learn that there is any censor software on the forum.)

LOL - I just checked and now it says "Dec 1969".

I'm also having a problem with the "Portal Page". At first I thought it was a FireFox problem since "Home Theater Forum" wouldn't come up from the bookmark in my FireFox browser; but *would* come up in IE7. Then I noticed that IE7 was "pointing" to the Forum page. Sure enough, Firefox can get to the Forum page without any problem; but *neither* browser can get to the "Portal Page".
