Back to original software I see?

I have to say, while I liked some of the look of the new software, I couldn't log in, and it kept timing out on me all over the place. I'm sure most of those were temporary issues.

But it's good to see hometheaterforum.com resolve itself and respond again!

I wonder what happened. If I go to
http://www.hometheaterforum.com/

I get

It seems that this old software area doesn't have any posts since the new software started. So, maybe we aren't supposed to be here right now?

I agree, it's like coming home again!

Hopefully, whatever ends up happening, it works out for the best.

We had some problems with the new software and our server so to get the forum back online we made a decision to revert back to the old software.

Parker and Ron will be along to make the appropriate announcements, so please, be patient with us as we try to resolve this situation. Thank you.

Yeah, I think the new software crashed, and they brought back the old just to be up and running again. Notice no new posts since the 3rd now.

Hope they can figure out what happend.

Damn. I picture poor Parker with a hot water bottle on his head and a big jar of aspirin at his side.

There's Jessie the yodeling cowgirl. Bullseye, he's Woody's horse. Pete the old prospector. And, Woody, the man himself. Of course, it's time for Woody's RoundUp. He's the very best! He's the rootinest, tootinest cowboy in the wild, wild west!

As many of your are aware and many of you found out over the past two days our attempt to upgrade our software failed with the new software crashing the server over and over. Due to this fact we have decided to return to the old software.

Any messages that were attempted to be posted and any usernames that were submitted to join us will have to be done so again.

We will be staying with the old software for some time.

We apologize for the down type and for the hassle. We appreciate your patience in this matter.

Thanks,
Parker, Ron and the entire HTF Staff.

I picture the giant hand from The Castle of Otranto reaching down and pressing the "RESET" button.

So, what's with the Flash version? I haven't tried that link, and I'm wondering what's really on the other side.

I'm really sorry you guys went to all that trouble for nothing.

Sorry to hear of the troubles.

Damn I thought I was gonna die. Funny how we take stuff for granted. Glad to have HTF back.

After using the new software I much prefer this/old style.
