I was actually heartened to read the latest announcement about the mock emails masquerading as HTF letters. I've been getting similar emails, but as if from my own domain. I had to download a few to make sure that my hosting service didn't have some warning system I was unaware of.
But it was also unsettling to see emails posing as from my tiny little website. I'm bothered that others might actually get these, and think I'm attacking them!
I share a bit of your pain, but I'm glad to know I'm not alone with these difficulties. And, please, if you find any way to combat this new SPAM (besides normal email filtering) post it here.
