I've got it activated, and checked to see that my email address was entered correctly, but apparently it doesn't actually send me an email when I get a private message; I only found out about the one Cees sent me because he edited my signature (which seems excessive in and of itself, one day after sending a private message and not bothering to send a direct email).

Two days ago, I sent you a Personal Message (I suppose that's what you mean by "direct mail"). Then I also sent an e-mail to notify you about it.

Then, one day later, when you still had not reacted, I placed a notification in your signature.
Again, you didn't reply and again 1 day later, after I noticed that you had made at least one new post and still not replied to my message, I added a new message to your signature and an edit.

I think I've been very kind and considerate. Normally, when members fail to react for so long a time, we react more drastically.
