how about just ONE ongoing "blind buy?" thread

maybe it's just me, but i'm tired of people asking "is this DVD worth a blind buy?" several times a week... i mean, search for the review thread or rent it. or re-start the discussion on the existing review thread.

how about one on-going "is this worth a blind buy?" thread, that way it doesn't clog up the board.

unless of course, pleople like these threads, in which case that's fine.

Eric,

If someone is asking the question inside a
thread already started on the DVD's subject,
I don't see this as a problem.

If people are starting threads that say Is
blah-blah worth a blind purchase?"
then I
can see the problem (though I'll admit I may have
done this once or twice in my career).

Tell you what. If you see a thread started based
on asking about a blind purchase.....report it to
us via the link. We'll look at it and if there is
already a related thread we'll move it.

Finally....

Love your photo of Dennis Hopper from True Romance.
That is from one of the greatest scenes in American
Cinema.

someone asking if LOTR:TT (EE) is worth it...

http://www.hometheaterforum.com/htfo...hreadid=179906

someone asking if Almost Famous Uncut is worth it...

http://www.hometheaterforum.com/htfo...hreadid=179638

again, if these sites get lots of hits/replies, i guess people don't mind.

it's like those "what's your favourite demo sequence?" threads that pop up every few weeks... just have to learn to ignore them if you're tired of them
