Hi,

I was looking over the chat room that will be used for Monday's chat and noticed a blurb stating something to the effect that "for best access...it is recommended to use mIRC".

Do I need to download this mIRC to participate in the chat? Using the icon I can connect to the chat area with no problem.

I use a cable modem if that makes any difference.

Steve,

You don't need MIRC to attend the chat, though
it is a better client to connect with.

For the meantime, you can connect to the chat
through our webpage:

http://hometheaterforum.com/home/chat2.html

If you do plan to use MIRC, use these settings
and for God's sake, test it out before the chat

Log onto:

irc.shadowfire.org port 6667 and join #HTF.
