When spell checking a post a few moments ago, I wasn't surprised that it choked on brand names, but it amused me to note that it didn't recognize "HT", "HTF", "subwoofer", "WAF"... but it does now, thanks to the "Learn" mode. (I wonder how many misspelled words have been "learned" since this version of the spell checker was implemented?) :>)

The "learn" function of the PHP version of the spellchecker is set on your PC. So the words that you "learn" are stored in a cookie for you on your computer and not in the database of the spellchecker.

I like the grammar and dictionary function of this version of the spellchecker too. If the checker has a problem with giving you an alternative suggestion to use you can click on the dictionary option and it will give you a bunch of words that you can use to replace your word with.
