New Forum Suggestion: DVD Software Glitches

Home Theater Forum:

This suggestion is born out of the unwieldy Alien Quadrilogy thread, where people who simply want to learn about glitches with this set in terms of software and hardware interaction have to sift through 80 pages of posts to find information pertinent to them.

Wouldn't it make sense to break Home Theater Software forum up a bit? It is a very generic topic. I think having a Home Theater Software Glitches forum would be a good first step.

Thanks and keep up the excellent, excellent work.

Paul,

We'll bring this up for discussion amongst the staff.

The problem tends to be that the more we break down
this forum into additional categories, the harder it
is to run.

Don't despair, however -- I'll run this past the staff.

I think it's a great suggestion. If not a separate forum, at least consider allowing separate threads for dealing with playback issues and glitches. I'm having trouble with my Alien disc, but there's no way I'm going to read through 60+ pages to find the information I'm looking for! Honestly, when a thread gets that big and unwieldy, what good is 90% of it (excluding search hits)?
