New Home Page

I like your new home page. It lays everything out in a logical order and is easy to use. I'm sure it's still a work in progress, but I like it so far. Thank you for all of the efforts you guys make to make this a very enjoyable and informative resource for all of us who use it.

My bookmark has been updated accordingly.

Paul,

Thank You so much.

We encourage the membership to help us design
the layout and (more importantly) decide what
content to put on that page.

We would love to have access to news feeds of
Industry events/happenings to post links to so
that our membership stays well informed.

CONTENT is a big issue for us right now and
as I said, we would love member input on how
to make that page better.

Thanks once more!

Is it just my blindness- or does the new opening page offer no links to the forums themselves? There is the FORUM link at the top, but last week I could have sworn there was a series of simple links to the various forums...

Did I miss something?

It was there, Vince. You're not going crazy. It's the work-in-progress thing.

Vince:

In order to limit the amount of vertical scrolling being down I have taken the forum listings and put them in a pull down menu like you see in the forum itself.

This might not be doable, not sure how dynamic the homepage is BUT:

What would really rock would be the ability to have certian forums as links. I read HTF everyday (don't post much, but read it) but am only interested in 4 or so forums. It would be great to be able to put these on the homepage so that when going to www.hometheaterforum.com I could see just those 4 or 5 forums as links to click. I find the dropdown very hard to read because of the formatting.

My Collection Does anyone look at these things anyway?

Jay: So why the long face, Horse? Banky on the rag?
Holden: I\'m just having some girl troubles.
Jay: Bitch pressing charges? I get that a lot.

The Jump Menu is a great edition. It is a bit confusing to read though sometimes.

Wow, Christmas has come early. Really love the new home page design Ron and Parker. The list of most recent posts is great and helps to possibly highlight threads that some might overlook by not going to that particular forum. As for the jump menu on the home page, I noticed it is missing this forum

Overall a job!!!!

It feels a little off balance now, with the left side being a lot longer than the right side. Maybe move one of the modules to the other side for balance.
