I know you have some concern over the fact that you're not a professional writer, but I - and I'm sure many others - appreciate your "down to earth" point of view. It's nice to read honest reviews written by one of us.

I couldn't agree with you more. Ron really needs the break though because between his regualar day job and administrating this forum and doing reviews he had to life. I am glad to see him take a few steps back from his responsibilites for this forum so he can enjoy participating more with the members of the forum as a member.

I want Ron to know that I read a lot of reviews and put stock in his above all others. What I like most is that he really portrays his mindset going into his reviews so that we know where he's coming from. For instance, there's a huge difference in reading a John Wayne movie review by someone who is an afficianado and one who isn't. Noone will be in 100% accord with another's film tastes, but all should appreciate the thorough, PROFESSIONAL quality that Ron's reviews provide us lucky readers here at HTF.

I just wanted to add that I fully understand why Ron is stepping down from this position. As I well know, it's easy to become so tied up with things that you have no life. I'll miss the reviews, but Ron already does more than enough for us.
