A question about the white background of the forum...

Something occured to me today that I hadn't taken into consideration before. I use MSN TV service to surf the forum on my 48" RPTV and am starting to fear that burn-in could occur because of the bright white backgounds presant here in the forum.

Parker,

I'm probably not the only one who uses their RPTV as a computer monitor and would like to ask the following question, would it be possible to change the color from white to a more soft grey color? I realize this is a huge request, but it would just make the forum more RP friendly I would think.

Thanks.

John, you could try lowering the contrast on your RPTV. Better still, you could use the monitor that came with your computer. (I'm fanatical about keeping the contrast and brightness reined in on my iMac as well.) I strongly doubt Parker will alter the basic look and layout of this place.

John:

I can see what I can do but if white is a problem then I doubt that changing it to a lighter shade of grey would make that much of a difference. Like Jack suggested you may try lowering your contrast and brightness levels on your RPTV to see if that helps too.
