folder.gif's not loading.

At some point in the last few weeks the folder.gif's that show what's new since I last logged on haven't been fully loading. I usually have to right click show picture on them to see what's new. It isn't a big deal for me to do this but if I can fix it I'd sure like to know how. Thanks.

John:

I am not sure what you are referring to here. Are you referring to the red and yellow folder icons?

Thanks for your reply.
Indeed I'm referring to the red and yellow folder icons. I realize this is likely to be something going on with my computer and not necessarily something wrong with the forum. I haven't changed any settings in IE though so I'm rather clueless as to what I need to do to fix this. Here's a screen capture to show you what I'm talking about. I'd appreciate any insight you could give me towards fixing this.

Actually I'm getting alot of this, too. I still think it's my machine, though. The only icons that load for me are threads that I've recently viewed. Browser cache issue, perhaps?

It may be. We changed out some server software today. See if that fixed it.

It's still happening for me despite changed out server software. What Browser cache settings should I change in IE to try and remedy this?

Tools -> Internet Options -> Delete Files
(same screen) -> Settings -> View Files -> Delete them (this will remove your cookies, too, so you'll have to sign back in everywhere).

This is happening to me too. I'm using a PC though. I've tried clearing the internet files and that doesn't seem to work.
