One strange thing that just happened: while surfing the music forum, I clicked on a thread to read the contents. Upon hitting the back button on my browser, I was taken back to the music forum, but with threads from a day earlier!

It sounds to me like you are looking at a page that you have cached in your browser. Try clearing your browser's cache files and see if this continues to happen.

Certainly odd timing, though...

Yeah, I know. I always have my browser clear all the cached pages on exit so I know I am looking at new stuff when I get back on the site.

I still find the site to be very slow overall. It sits at a blank page for a few seconds and then the page pops up all at once. It is taking at least 3 times longer to load each page.
