Very strange "white out" phenominon happening in some threads!?

It's only happened twice in the space of a few days, but when I go into a certain thread, the text that should be black, suddenly goes completly white and I cannot read it.

What is this?

I wanted to be the first one to kill somebody on the moon."

Are you by any chance using IE on a Mac? Do you have a link to the threads in question? Other users that have been using IE with the Mac have experienced this problem recently. I need to be able to see the threads in question to see if I can find a common demoninator.

Every thread with Travis_W has the problem...perhaps there is something in his signature that is causing this?

The problem is in Travis_W's signature:

<html><body bgcolor=black text=white><img src="http://www.com-www.com/weirdal/pix/library-vhs-tape-small.jpg"></body></html>

That's the wierdest thing i've ever seen! Someone's signature causing a whole page to go white like that?

Thanks Parker and Steve for your help on this.

I removed the bgcolor tag he was using. See if that fixed the problem.

Yep, that did it. Apparently, IE is fooled when it sees a second <html></html> pair into assigning bgcolor and text.

It's always a pleasure to help out the Mac folks.
