Like you Adam, I received my A2 via Fedex priority overnight. No Heroes inside. Babel and Seabiscuit were there though.

Can almost cue Handel. Almost.
I don't physically have my hands on it yet but my UPS Store has received my player, which should be an XA2. UPS Next Day Air service. Shipped yesterday from Cerritos, CA which is in the greater L.A. area. No other boxes arrived with it. Can't yet confirm no software enclosed.
Ironic: after all their meshugas and delays, HD DVD--again--still made it to market before BD.  |

Howdy!
Just got my Toshiba. Nothing extra, but the box was opened. The UPS woman said that the tape across the top was something she added once she saw that the lid was flopping around. Could someone who gets the XA2 please tell us everything that comes inside.
Still barely enough tome to get out of here, so more later.

UPS came bright and early today while I was gone, those cheeky twits! They left the door tag, so it'll be Monday before I get my XA2. I'm assuming this was priority overnight.
So the 2's don't come with HDMI cables like the 1's did? How odd...

OK It seems like everyone got either a player or a note on their door today. I didn't get a confirmation that the second back of Panasonic BR players shipped today, so it is possible that they were delayed until Monday. I'll update you next week on the status. I also started the process of tracking down Heroes. I'll have an update on that and the shipping status of the other titles sometime next week. Let's just say that I am looking forward to being able to close this thread.

I got a UPS stickie note on my door saying they tried to delivery a DVD player today, but it's a "signature required" shipment, so they'll try to deliver it again before 10:30 a.m. next Monday. This might be an ordeal if I can't be here to receive it on Monday. Ugh.
