Let's jump in the Wayback Machine, and start this over.

Hi, folks,

I really would like my discussions and comments to accomplish what I would have liked to at the show. I've said my piece, and had some helpful comments back from the forum members, and it serves no purpose to keep going over them.

Therefore, with your permission, I'd like to move this discussion into a future relationship and co-operative understanding. To do that, I'd like to assume the role of Everyperson Indie Video Retailer, and ask what I think might have been asked during the convention, if we had been able to get together. Some of the questions that will follow will be from me, some will be what I think my fellow retialers might ask, and some will be playing devil's advocate. Hopefully, this will allow for great feedback, and the asking of questions driven by the actual discussion points that we come across.

Again, thank you all, for your honesty and your frankness, and your help.

To do this, I'd like to post each question seperately under One Man's Indie Question #? I won't flood the forum, possibly two or three questions a week, but hopefully, you will see why I believe strongly in what indie retailers can do, and I will learn more about why HTF has thrived for 10 years.

Thanks,

Adrian

Hi Adrian! I think you have a great idea!

I'm glad we're going to be able to put this misunderstanding behind us and work together to help improve the industry.
