Best Exhibitors?

Most people (myself included) probably haven't had time to visit most of the exhibitors yet. Post your favorite booths or suites here.

DTS was the only one worth visiting for me... I'd like to talk to the folks at Magnolia but they are by appointment only....

Agreed. DTS gave a nice demo and were more than willing to talk. I also would have liked to see Image and A&E, but they were both appointment only as well.

Ditto on DTS. Really nice folks and demo. Nice bag, too - mine is now stuffed with last night's haul from the Blu-Ray party...

Re: Best Exhibitors?

DTS was great... I agree that they are all very personable and really did a great job of welcoming us into their room for the demo.

the Blu-ray Disc Association has my vote for best demo, though... the bar was excellent - - loved the free drinks and there's nothing like saying "hey try it out for yourself" for an effective demo.

Big points to Toshiba for stepping up today as well.

Anyone else find it humorous that we are all sitting in the same hotel and chatting online?

Re: Best Exhibitors?

I liked the Tartan suite, mainly because I was able to connect with the publicist and chat about some of the Chan Wook Park films I've been watching lately. Tartan will be releasing Oldboy on BD and its possible HTF will start getting Tartan product for review.

Re: Best Exhibitors?

I also enjoyed the Tartan booth, but i didnt really have a chance to chat with them. I'd definitely pick up any of the 'revenge' trilogy films on HD or BD. I also enjoyed the Tai Seng booth, as i'm a sucker for the hong kong films. Its nice to know that Tai Seng is delving into HD-DVD titles, starting with 'Dragon Tiger Gate'.
