Deleted original post.

New Question for Ron/powers that be:
I see lunch is noted on the schedule but I don't see anything for a designated dinner time. Will there be food at the evening parties or do we need to squeeze in a meal beforehand?
(I'm not one that has to know when I'm going to eat; just curious)

It looks like there will be plenty of time to visit the exhibitors and do other things. The list of exhibitors has been posted and it looks like most of the studios are participating:

Hrm... nothing on the schedule for Thursday. Is that then our "free day" to roam the show floor?

EDIT: Thanks Ron! I'm obviously blind.

Ron, any way to find out if these clubs are going to be enforcing dress policies for these private parties? I don't dress like a slob, but in the middle of summer in Vegas, I usually go out in the evenings with a nice pair of shorts and a collared shirt. I prefer not having to wear jeans or khakis since I'll be sweating my ass off (in the long run, this is a good thing...just not when I'm out at night!), especially if I go out after the parties. Just would be nice to know so I don't have to pack more clothes than I need. For instance, the listing for Tao at vegas.com states no jeans or shorts are allowed.

Michael-
As long as you are dressed in decent looking clothes (no holes, rips tears, etc) I don't think it will be an issue. Trust me when I say that there will be plenty of short shorts at TAO. One other consideration as I don't know who will be wearing what, if you are wearing shorts/jeans you won't get turned away, but you may feel out of place. I am a dockers shorts and polo guy, so there might be two of us feeling out of place together.

No Signature...How boring is that!

Please note my wife is traveling with me and may override my wardrobe selections at anytime with things that I didn't even know were in my closet....that's what wives do...

Sam,

Paramount declined because they felt they had nothing to show us.
Sony declined because they felt they would rather join in on the
Blu-Ray event with the rest of the supporting studios.

This is a rather bad time of year for studios to give presentations
as nothing is ready to show as far as Fall product is concerned. For
instance, had this been September, we would have DreamWorks
showing off Shrek The Third and Paramount showing off
Transformers. Neither one of those titles are ready.

I am not certain we will be invited back to EMA next year, but
as a first-timer, it makes more sense to have this show in the Fall
rather than July. The studios are far more hyped about 4th quarter
product at that point. This is certainly something I will suggest to
the EMA committee.
