Picture artifacts on Hitachi P50V701—request for advice
Hello, forums—
I'm the generally happy owner of a Hitachi P50V701 plasma display, full 1080p, the works. HOWEVER...on black and white viewing material (e.g. "The Seventh Seal," "Mad Love," what have you) and even some color HD stuff, there's video noise in the form of a purplish shimmer in the more shadowy portions of the picture. Is this something I can fix with some recalibration (Not that I haven't tried) or is this indicative of a bigger problem? Any tips would be mightily appreciated!
