still got an annoying plasma problem ??

hoping i might get an answer here on this issue, i did previously post this sometime ago ....
toshiba plasma up to 1080i, xa2 hd and sony 301 players via hdmi video.

my problem i thought may have been with my xa2, but since hooking up the sony 301 has not changed.

for ex : , picture is excellent, but lets say the image is showing a fairly dimmly lit view, i see a sudden dimming of the entire screen, soon as the actor moves slightly the image than brigthens up agian....

of course if the image stays the same for a few mins while actors are not moving etc, the picture will go from bright and then slowly dim a little...little meaning it is starting to get on my nerves !!....

otherwise the whole movie hd experience is awesome and the plasma ( toshiba) picture is awesome...just happens when theres no real movement of actors when they are in scenes were the background is a little dim...

i have done basic calibrations with hd dve, and i only use the display 6 hrs a week maximum...of course it is out of warranty, but only 2 yrs old ??, am figuring i need some internal calibration, but don't want to fork out hundreds more dollars if it would not remedy this issue , no matter how much i try o adjust contrast to safe levels and brightness , from the tv or players, it keeps on happening with 95 per cent of discs, although i never noticed this with a standard dvd player ..

hope i made it fairly clear ? any advice will be greatly appreciated ...
