Sony 60A2020 settings help needed

Two months ago I purchased a 60A2020 and a Panasonic BD10. At the same time I upgraded my Dish Net service to HD. Thanks to everyone here I've extremely happy with my setup. This last week something has changed in setup with the satellite signal. Instead of displaying 16:9 HD channels across the full screen, the image is now truncated on either side thus reducing it to 4:3. I've plowed through the manual and all of the settings but I can't seem to find a resolution to this issue. I even contacted Dish Net tech support to see if it was an issue on their end but everything appears to be setup correctly. Anyone have any suggestions?

Press the "Wide" button on the remote until "full" appears on the screen, not "normal". If this doesn't work for HD channels when those channels are actually broadcasting HD material there is something wrong with the Dish setup. If you press "Display" on the tv remote it will tell you the scanrate of the signal being received from the Satellite box-this should read either 1080i or 720p.

I prefer not to push the subwoofers until they\'re properly run in.

It shows that it's 1080i signal but in "full" display it stretches the image to fill the screen. Is there any other settings I should check?

When you have the set in Full mode on an HD station that is actually broadcasting an HD show is the geometry correct or does everything look short and fat? If the geometry is correct nothing is wrong, if it's short and fat your sat box is set up wrong.

I think it's the ViP622 DVR.

When I have it set to Full mode while watching an HD channel, the image does look short and fat. When I go into the DVR settings, I can see that it's set for a 16:9 - 1080i image. I'm not sure what else to check.
