Philips 50PF9431D/37 - $1500 at costco

I saw that costco has this plasma tv on sale for $1500. But before I snatch it up, does anybody have any feedback on this tv and it's picture quality? I would like to get the 50" panasonic they have, but I haven't seen it for under $2000, and $500 is a pretty huge price difference. So any advice?

thanks,
greg

Hi Greg

The only Phillips plasmas that I have info on are the 9731 and the 9631...they rated rather well, in particular the 9731...however, the 9631 rated about as well as the Panny TH-50PX60U...none the less, I have consistently advised people to go with the Panny. YMMV
