I Need Some Expert Help Picking An HDTV....REAL BAD!
Hello everyone, I need some help picking an HDTV in the WORST WAY! I am looking to buy an HDTV in the $1,000-$1,400 range BY SATURDAY. What I need is some advice from all of the knowledgeable people on this board. My first question is whether I should get an LCD or a rear projection CRT/DLP (not the floor model kind). Space is not an issue so please don't consider the thinness of the LCD to be an advantage over a CRT. I will mostly be playing games and watching movies on this TV so please consider that in your suggestions. I will list some of the models that I am looking at to give you an idea of what direction to point me in. I will admit that right now the Westinghouse has gotten great reviews, so I am kind of partial to that model, but my decision is NOT set in stone yet.
With all of this being said, here are the models that I am considering: Maxent MX-42HPM20 (Plasma), Westinghouse W4207 (LCD), Panasonic TH-42PX60U (Plasma), Sony KDF-42E2000 (CRT), Philips 42PF7421D (LCD), Viewsonic N4251W (LCD), Pioneer PDP-425CMX (LCD), Samsung DLP HL-R4266 (CRT).
