screen aspect ratio

I was wondering what aspect ratio I want 1.78:1 to 1.85:1 I only watch tv 10 percent of the time and the rest is split between xbox360 and dvd.

I think that a regular 16:9 (closer to the 1.78:1, I believe) screen will work fine for both those aspect ratios.

I personally am doing 16:9. I'd rather have black top/bottom bars on 1.8:1+ material than trying to compress and do side bars (or stretch) 16:9.

Just seems easier. But there are a lot of fans of the 2.35:1 screens.
