Toshiba DLP buzzing

I just replaced the lamp in my Toshiba 62hm84, and about two weeks later when I turned off the set, I had a buzzing noise coming from the fan/lamp area. Now, sometimes when I turn on the set it will make the same buzzing and then turn itself off, with the LED indicator doing the same thing it did when the lamp blew. After cycling sometimes five or six times it'll come on and work fine. Is this a fan problem, or did I get a defective lamp? I have the Best Buy service plan, but I don't really trust them to make a 100% accurate diagnosis, so I'm hoping to have some information when the come out. Any ideas?

I had a 44NHM84 toshiba (granted the 44" model is OEM'd from LG) but i got the buzzing problem when i wpould hit the power button. and then the TV would fail to turn on. I would insist on having this problem addressed cause it could be pretty serious, i was told it was the light engine, but even with that replaced the problem remained on ym unit, so i think its a circuit board problem personally.
