Problems viewing cable through my Infocus projector

Hi,
I have an Infocus LP750 that I use mostly for watching DVDs, but with World Cup approaching I want to use it to watch soccer matches as well. I ran the cable through our VCR and then out to the projector, but none of the channels above 30 will display. I get the generic blue screen. Running the cable directly into our television I don't have any problems. So I swapped out the VCR with one I borrowed but I got the same problem.
Any suggestions? Is the projector not accepting the signal or is this some kind of VCR/Cable issue I don't know anything about.
Thanks in advance for the help.

hi
you are using a composite cable?
Channels below 30 will be NO DIFFERENT than channels above 30.
Check your VCR and other devices

Regards

Gregg

Sounds like you have the VCR set to "Air" - to get the full range of channels you'll need to switch it to "Cable."

Yep, Cameron is most likely correct... That Blue screen is probably VCR-Generated and all you have to do is go into the VCR's menu and switch it to Cable instead of 'air'.

Re: Problems viewing cable through my Infocus projector

This was the problem exactly. I didn't think to try to find a VCR menu.
Thanks much for the quick help.
